The Kenn Morr Band will be performing an intimate acoustic show at The Buttonwood Tree!
Singer/Songwriter Kenn Morr and his band are putting the finishing touches on their new CD Trade Winds.
Their previous release Higher Ground is receiving radio and internet airplay as well as critical acclaim in over ten European countries as well as the U.S.
Belgium’s Rootstime Magazine states: “The fifth album by Kenn Morr is called ‘Higher Ground’ and contains a secret treasure. True jewelry with ten twinkling pearls that he sings in his typical laid back and almost whispering style. Our advice: buy this record and enjoy it for yourself as many times as you desire. It’s absolutely worthwhile!” Keys and Chords Magazine (Belgium) describes Higher Ground as “a collection of catchy folk/rock songs…” and states the new CD is “…tops in the world of Folk/Rock”.
Originally from Long Island and now a Colebrook, Ct resident Kenn Morr’s previous releases include: Move On – for which Kenn received a “Gold Artist Award” from
Radio Indy, Coming Home and New Moon Rising – produced by the legendary Bob Johnston (Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and countless other international artists.)
The Kenn Morr Band is an all-Connecticut based band featuring songwriter Kenn Morr on guitar, Bob Gaspar on percussion and Tom Hagymasi on Violin, bouzouki, mandolin, accordion and harmony vocals. The band will be playing selections off all of Kenn Morr’s CDs including a few tracks from their upcoming release.
The Buttonwood is among The Kenn Morr Band’s favorite venues.
Kenn Morr: “There’s an unmistakable intimacy at the Buttonwood that few rooms offer. The acoustics are perfect and the audience and vibes of the venue always make for a fun time for us. We’re really looking forward to the show.”
