Eric Mintel Quartet Spring Return

The Eric Mintel Quartet are back just in time for spring! Joining the pianist and composer will be Nelson Hill on sax, Dave Mohn on drums, and Jack Hegyi on bass.
Eric Mintel has played the piano all his life. Career highlights include two performances by invitation at the White House, several concerts and the Kennedy Center, and a special concert at the United Nations. Eric was a featured guest on Marian McPartland’s award winning program Piano Jazz on NPR, and his music is regularly played on XM and Sirius radio.
Jazz Legend Dave Brubeck has said “As long as the music attracts dedicated young musicians like Eric Mintel, jazz will continue to thrive and progress as a voice of freedom.” Eric Mintel continues to thrill audiences of all ages and continues to connect with people all over the world.
Eric Mintel Quartet is also spreading their “Jazz Education” and “Entrepreneurship in Jazz” to colleges and Universities. Eric Mintel and Nelson Hill are Yamaha endorsed performing artists. Dave Mohn is endorsed by Sabian Cymbals, Vic Firth and Bucks County Drum Co.
Alto sax, flute, and soprano saxman Nelson Hill’s career alongside the likes of Maynard Ferguson where he played lead alto, Buddy Rich, Frankie Valli, and the great Phil Woods among others continues to soar with his role in the Eric Mintel Quartet. www.nelsonhill.com
Jack Hegyi‘s career as a bassist on both electric and upright has taken him all over the world and included a 30-year career in the Atlantic City music scene. Jack has played alongside the likes of Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gourmet, Don Rickles, and many other greats of the entertainment world. His contagious joyous energy is felt
throughout the concerts when he hits the stage with the Eric Mintel Quartet.
